Our brewing plant in Oswestry, Shropshire, has recently been upgraded to 100 brewer’s barrels (28,800 pints) per week, which allows us to meet demand during peak periods. It consists of second hand vessels customised to form our liquor tanks and copper. Our open top fermenters and mash tun were custom built by Fabdec in Ellesmere. Most of the brewery parts and accessories, such as the sparge-arm, condenser and automated cask-washer, were designed and built by Iain – an engineer by trade.
The brewery is still a small family business, which has created jobs for twelve people since our start-up in 2007. We have recently constructed a purpose built, energy efficient brew house, and although we have seen a lot of interest in our products since winning a national gold award at SIBA, we are firmly committed to not taking over the world. Our bottles are available further afield, but if you want to try our beer in cask, you should stop into our on-site bar and shop, or visit some of the many great pubs in the area
