Maynard's is a family run business run by Rob Cunningham, selling top quality bacon, sausages, hams and many other pork products including pork pies, burgers and charcuterie. The Farm Shop situated on the A49 between Shrewsbury and Whitchurch sells all their pork produce plus frehly baked bread from their wood burning oven bakehouse, using all fresh and locally sourced ingredients such as Pimhill Organic Flour and Norwhich salt.
Rob and his team cure selected batches of bacon themselves in their own smokehouse and are passionate about experimenting wih new tastes and flavours, whilse honing existing flavours such as Treacle Cured and Shropshire Mild.
Maynard's offer a contract curing service where they will arrange to have your pigs delivered to them for slaughter and specific curing to your exact requirements. All their dry cures and brines are unique to Maynard's Farm and created on site using top quality sugars, salts, treacles, honey, herbs and spices.
